What does the INEOS Grenadier warranty cover?

The INEOS Grenadier is built for more, whether you are looking to elevate your on or off-road ventures near Dallas and Fort Worth. That is why the INEOS Grenadier warranty is generous and provides additional peace of mind for your investment. So what does the INEOS Grenadier warranty cover? There are two warranties: the New Vehicle Limited and Federal Emission Control. There is another Emission Control warranty though it is specifically for California. New vehicle limited warranty 

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty has three components, and each component has a particular duration as you can see here:

• Basic for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the in-service date
• Paint for 36 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the in-service date 
• Anti-perforation for 12 years or unlimited miles, from the in-service date 

Are you wondering, “What is the anti-perforation warranty? Or the basic warranty?” Below, our associates explain what each component refers to: 

• Basic covers any repairs, replacements, or adjustments needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship for any covered vehicle 
• Paint covers any repairs, replacements, or adjustments needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship for original factory paint on any covered vehicle
• Anti-perforation covers any repairs, replacements, or adjustments of the body sheet metal panels and the chassis frame on a covered vehicle to remediate inside-to-outside perforation from corrosion resulting from defective materials or workmanship

Along with knowing what the anti-perforation warranty is, you should also know that the coverage requires that the covered vehicle is inspected and repaired, if necessary, annually by an INEOS store.

Federal emission control warranty 

The INEOS Grenadier warranty also covers aspects relating to the federal emission standards. The Federal Emission Control warranty has durations for each of these components:

• Defect for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the in-service date
• Specific parts for 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the in-service date 
• Performance for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the in-service date 

This warranty consists of the following two parts:

• Emission Defect Warranty: INEOS warrants that the covered vehicle was designed, built, and equipped to conform at the time of sale with applicable federal emissions standards. INEOS also warrants that the vehicle is free from defects in materials and workmanship of the manufacturer that may cause it to fail to meet these standards. 

• Emission Performance Warranty: You are eligible for this warranty coverage if an EPA-approved vehicle inspection and maintenance (I/M) program is enforced in your area. INEOS will make all necessary repairs, though an INEOS store, if the covered vehicle fails to meet applicable emissions standards as determined by an EPA-approved emissions test AND this failure results or will result in some penalty to you under local, state, or federal law.
